NRA Basic Pistol Course
This is the NRA Basic Pistol course. It covers the basic knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for owning and using a pistol safely.
Located at LASC Club house and Rifle Range
- Couse Goal: To teach the basic knowledge, skills and attitudes necesary for owning and using a pistol safely.
- Length of the course is approximately 10 hours.
- There are no prerequisites for this course
Lessons:
1. Pistol Knowledge and Safe Gun Handling
2. Ammunition Knowledge and the Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting
3. Firing the First Shots
4. Two-handed and One-handed Standing Shooting Positions
5. Pistol Sports and Activities
• Ear and eye protection will be provided.
• Please bring lunch; beverages will be provided.
