I am in the process of restoring my grandfathers early 1894 Marlin (est. Mfg 1913) 25-20 Deluxe takedown. With help from club members I was able to locate a replacement stock and buttplate. The mechanics all seem to be fine. I've carved and fitted the stock but before going further I would like to find a good gunsmith to inspect the rifle to insure it's mechanically sound and safe to shoot.

Would appreciate any suggestions or referral. Thanks!!
