Hi, IDPA group folks. Bill's post about getting into IDPA has prompted some emails among some of the IDPA match folks. There are three of us who will be presenting a ~90-minute session at the range for those interested in getting involved. The session is all about the equipment needed, rules, other requirements, and safety. Stand by for more on this -- but, we'd like to do the session when the COVID stuff is ameliorated a bit and when it gets a little warmer.

in answer to Bill Feiereisen: you can use IDPA matches for practicing with your daily carry gear (many do), or you can just enjoy a day of shooting with like minded shooting friends, or you can really care about winning (we have some of those too). so bring the gear you want to shoot, and there will be a division for you to shoot in (so you are shooting against similar type guns).
