Mike Grimler beat me to it. Additionally, LASC also hosts Steel Challenge matches on the first saturday of each month, a USPSA match on the 3rd saturday of each month, and a 2-gun match on the 4th Sunday of each match, so plenty of opportunities for competitive shooting.
check the google group link Mike posted for match announcements for all matches. most matches are announced about a week before they happen.
